The club can announce that head coach Bryn Jenkins has stepped down from the role following the conclusion of the 21/22 season. Bryn has chosen to take a step back from rugby to spend more time with his young family which as a club we both fully understand and support.

Bryn has been a key part of the club ever since joining as a player/forwards coach and he seamlessly transitioned into the role of head coach at the start of the 18/19 league season at the end of which he delivered the clubs first Devon Senior Cup for nine years and followed this up by leading the club to promotion as champions in the 19/20 season and back into the National Leagues.

Bryn has always been extremely popular with players, supporters, and club management, he’s always been a humble, committed, and engaging coach who will be greatly missed however he will always have a special place as a member of the ‘Barum’ family and we look forward to seeing him at the odd game. Very best wishes Bryn to you and your family for the future.

Of course, as the old saying goes ‘time waits for no man’ and with that firmly in mind we now seek to appoint a new Head Coach. An advert is attached here Head Coach Opportunity and for further information please contact Director of Rugby Jeremy Chugg (detail in the advert)

Please note closing date for expressions of interest is Monday 12 th June
