Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Barnstaple Rugby Club, Pottington Road, Barnstaple, EX31 1JH
Reports To: Club Chairman providing monthly reports to the Management
Board/Committee.
Salary: Competitive salary for the right person.
Closing Date: Sunday 8th September with interviews expected to take place soon
after.
For the first time in 30 years, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Barnstaple Rugby Club as we seek a committed, proactive, enthusiastic, and trustworthy person to take up the role of Club Bar & Events Manager, and in doing so, becoming a key part of this friendly but ambitious rugby club.
The successful person will have a proven track record within hospitality, ideally within a sports club environment.
Demonstrating the ability to organise events of all scales and ensuring that all events at the club, including match days, are successful in both enjoyment and financially.
You will act as an ambassador for the club, providing a visible presence, particularly during the rugby season, representing the club in a professional and friendly manner and developing the clubhouse as a venue where people want to come and spend their time.
