The Barnstaple RFC Annual General Meeting will be held at 7pm on Thursday 16th July 2026 at the Club. All Members of the Club are requested to attend if possible.
Nominations for Club Officers:
Any Member shall have the right to make nominations, with the written consent of a candidate, for election to any one or more of the Officers of the Club. Such nominations must be sent in writing so as to reach the Honorary Secretary by 06th July 26. The Committee shall also have the right to make nominations for the election of Officers. In accordance with the Club Constitution, the Club Officers are defined as The President (currently Trevor Edwards), the Immediate Past President (currently John Courtney), The Hon Treasurer (currently Benn Coley) and The Hon Secretary (currently John Sloley). At the time of writing, all have indicated a desire to remain in post but all understand that others may wish to be nominated in line with due process.
Nominations for Committee Members:
Any Member shall have the right to make not more than one nomination, with the written consent of the candidate, for election as one of the Committee Members. Such nominations must be sent in writing so as to reach the Honorary Secretary by 06th July 26. The Committee shall also have the right to make nominations for the election of Committee Members without restriction on the number of nominations.
The Annual General Meeting will consider any other business as long as due notice is given in writing to the Honorary Secretary (by 9th July 2026).
