Barnstaple Girl’s Rugby
Welcome to Barnstaple Girls Rugby!
Girls Rugby at Barnstaple RFC
At Barnstaple RFC, our girls’ section is thriving! We have a warm, welcoming group of players from across the area, where the focus is just as much on friendship and fun as it is on rugby. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or already have experience, there’s a place for you here.
Training takes place on Friday evenings, with matches on Sunday afternoons. Our well-structured coaching sessions focus on core rugby skills, ensuring all girls develop the technical ability to play safely and confidently. All our coaches are DBS checked and undertake regular training to maintain a high standard of coaching.
Beyond the pitch, we offer a fantastic social experience. From watching women’s rugby live or on the big screen, to team tours, Christmas parties, and strength and conditioning sessions at Grit and Grace gym, there’s always something going on to build team spirit and friendships.
